Are you sure that you have not disabled the SATA ports? Posted 11 September – What floppy or what CD in particular? When you boot from an XP installation CD, what exactly happens?

Please elaborate on the circumstance in which the “drive is still not seen”. Then the next job, before doing anything else is to get Windows fully updated.

I have to shutdown and turn off PS for a min and then it will boot up It boots fine but now I get blue screen often saying that windows is shutting down to avoid harm to my components.
